FLY IN JOHNNY is in great form and has entries at BRIGHTON on Tuesday.
MAKAI was dissapointing on Friday and following the poor performance of the well fancied C'mon you irons on Saturday Mark Hoad has requested blood tests on some of his horses!!!
STAR OF POMPEY is enjoying her enforced holiday now until the turn of the year. She will be back and we continue to be optimistic about her bright future, after all her auntie CESARE was a late developer.

Following the stewards cup debacle DOCTOR HILARY has also been balloted out of the shergar cup on saturday, although it was expected.It looks like his first race for us will be at Great Leighs on the 21st August over 5 furlongs. He has been working well with Mafaheem who gave us a big boost by winning at Yarmouth,Our doctor has been showing Mafaheem a clean pair of heels!!!!He will be entered to run at Great Leighs on the 21st and also at Kempton Park on the 25th.

PLAY UP POMPEY is knocking on the door. We feel he won't be long in winning again. His run at Lingfield was encouraging and had he not been forced to come around the outside he would have been closer. There is a nice race at Great Leighs later in the month although he will probably run at Lingfield on Saturday if he gets in.(balloted out)

DOUBLE R has not shown enough at Mark Hoad's yard and we will now take her out of training. She will be replaced in the Dual Purpose syndicate by FLY IN JOHNNY.
